Resilience Against Domestic Abuse (RADA) is now running weekly on
Mondays 4pm – 5.30pm
and is going well with a group of 7, soon to be 8 children attending – providing strong emotional
support for the complex needs of children – and often the wider family, too.
RADA is a free session for children of junior school age, who have been witness to domestic abuse in the home. This project works on an early intervention model with an appreciation of the child’s life situations. The project will offer children a safe, warm welcoming place, which offers them space, time, and the freedom to explore their experience and consequent need.
This project is actively seeking referrals from any supporting agencies and family members.
