Aims

Learning Together is being delivered as part of the National Academy of Social Prescribing (NASP) national Thriving Communities programme. DISCOVER

Regional webinars – to complement the National Academy of Social Prescribing (NASP) national webinars, we offer themed webinars involving our partners to help participants learn about social prescribing in the region, learn from established services/provisions, discover how they can get involved in this growing area, and explore opportunities for the VCSE sector.

DEVELOP

Our time to think: Action Learning Sets – three dedicated monthly sessions, delivered by our training and coaching partner Infinity, to give participants time and space to explore options and solutions with peer professionals to develop their work in the area of social prescribing.

Your best self: leadership and development workshops – dedicated workshops exploring leadership essentials and the opportunity to gain additional skills

Teach: share your expertise with others so we all Learn Together

CONNECT

Regional peer networking – three sessions to provide the time to discuss challenges and opportunities, ask questions, and make relevant and useful contacts with other community leaders involved in social prescribing.

Making local connections – Opportunities to meet with and gain advice from regional social prescribing facilitators, learning coordinators, local infrastructure organisations and Thriving Communities partners.

How much is it? FREE

What is the time commitment?

With monthly webinars and the opportunity to join networking meetings every other month, Learning Together is designed to fit around your work.

We would say it is a two hours a month commitment for most.

You will be offered other training opportunities, for example Action Learning Sets, which would be an additional two hours a month, but these are not mandatory.   The learning programme is flexible as many webinars are recorded. Pick and choose how and when you engage.
