To celebrate Social Prescribing Day on the 14th March 2024, we will be opening up our St Mary’s office to patients, community organisations/services and volunteers, where we will showcase everything great about social prescribing.
We invite everyone to experience the variety of support we offer, including music, gardening, socialising, wellbeing and creativity, as well as being able to see our office space and the entire social prescribing team together.
Social prescribing is provided to empower and enable individuals to become more self-reliant, resilient and much more activated in their own health and care.
By opening up our office space, and being able to showcase the work we do across many different levels, we believe this will be a memorable and impactful way for others to celebrate with us on Social Prescribing Day!
What is Social Prescribing Day?
Social Prescribing Day is an annual celebration of the people, organisations and communities who make social prescribing happen.
The day is for sharing ideas and highlighting the impact of social prescribing on people and communities. Together, we want to raise awareness of what social prescribing is, how it works, and how it changes lives.
